DESTINATION GUIDE
Tobermory
Tobermory is a picturesque village at the tip of Ontario’s Bruce Peninsula, on the northern edge of Georgian Bay. It is known for clear water and dramatic natural scenery. Adjacent Fathom Five National Marine Park protects rocky islands and remarkably preserved shipwrecks.
Outdoor activities include diving, boat tours, and wildlife watching. The harbor is also the departure point for ferries to Manitoulin Island, the world’s largest freshwater island. Glass-bottom boats reveal submerged wrecks, while summer brings visitors for turquoise water, ecotourism, and the atmosphere of a traditional fishing village.
