DESTINATION GUIDE
Tadoussac
Tadoussac sits where the St. Lawrence River meets the Saguenay Fjord and is a paradise for nature lovers and whale watchers. One of North America’s oldest settlements, it is internationally recognized as an exceptional place to see whales, including belugas and blue whales.
Colorful houses and the iconic Tadoussac Chapel, Canada’s oldest wooden church, give the village its character. Whale-watching cruises are the main attraction, but visitors can also explore giant dunes, panoramic trails in Saguenay Fjord National Park, and the historic red-roofed Hotel Tadoussac.
