OUR MISSION

Mission of this project

You know that moment when you are about to book a trip and wonder if it is really worth it?

After traveling the world for more than 20 years — yes, there are many stamps in my passport — I realized that I had kept true travel gems all to myself. A bit selfish, right?

That is why I decided to create this special space where I will open my travel diary for you. In each post, we will explore a new destination together and find out, unfiltered and in real life, if that place that went viral on Instagram is actually worth it.

You will get to know not only the tourist sights that everyone visits, but also those special spots that only the locals know. And, of course, I will share all the hassles you need to avoid so you do not waste money.

Are you ready to discover the world in a different way? Join me in this adventure!
WHO IT IS FOR

Who is this for

If you catch a glimpse of a promotional flight ticket and immediately start dreaming, you are in the right place.

It does not matter if you are an experienced traveler who already knows half the world or if you are planning your first international adventure: there are precious tips here for everyone.

This space was created for those who love to discover new places but hate falling into tourist traps; for those looking for authentic experiences without burning through all their savings; and for those who spend hours researching every detail before traveling.

Here everything is real, just the way it happens. And if you love organizing every stage of your trip, prepare to become an expert in building incredible itineraries.

If travel makes your heart beat faster, you are already part of this community.

Want to know who is the crazy guy who traded the Pernambuco sun for Canadian ice?

In 2018, I decided to turn my life around and left my beloved Recife for the land of maple syrup. But this story is far from over: I am already planning my next adventures around the world because this nomadic spirit does not stand still.

Between one blog and another — besides this one, there is Você no Quebec, which is my darling — I split my time between being a father of twins, a husband, a cyclist in my spare time, and an official hunter of incredible landscapes.

I am a webmaster, e-commerce specialist, and content creator. And to complete the global citizen bundle, I get by well in English, French, and risk a little Spanish.

This is my story: unfiltered and with a lot of Pernambuco accent, which not even the cold of Canada could freeze out.

So, shall we discover the world together?
